Options to Fit Your Interests and Schedule

Launched in 1998, the Master of Agribusiness (MAB) program at Kansas State University was the first graduate agribusiness program in the nation to be offered through distance education. The MAB was developed to teach food, animal health and agribusiness professionals strategies for making informed decisions based on a thorough understanding of current issues.

The award-winning program has attracted more than 700 students from more than 40 states and 30 countries. The 42-credit-hour program is delivered executive-style over a 30-month period to a cohort of students. Students attend four one-week campus sessions on the Kansas State University campus over a 2 ½ year period, and complete the remainder of course work at a distance using the internet, flash drives, podcasts and interactive online classrooms.

We offer two start dates and program options, a dual degree, as well as a 20-hour graduate certificate. Learn more about each of these options:

The MAB program has two start dates: January with campus sessions at the K-State campus in Manhattan, KS or September with campus session dates at the K-State Olathe campus.
The MAB program offers an option tailored to individuals working in the animal health and companion animal industry.
The Master of Agribusiness (MAB) and Professional Master of Business Administration (PMBA) dual degree program allows students to earn both the MAB and PMBA degrees concurrently.
